5-bedroom house. 12 years old. cul-de-sac with only 2 houses. Access via a private road. Close to a river Homeworks was the first estate agents we had dealing with as we planned our move to Norfolk from Essex. We were immediately impressed with Carl's local knowledge of the housing market. The viewings we had with Carl and his team were informative, friendly and in no way pressurised. During negotiations, Carl was honest, open, and willing to answer any question we had and went the extra mile to ensure both parties were happy with the final purchase price. Carl and his team were quick to respond to queries and willing to chase enquiries with solicitors and the local authorities. I would have no hesitation in using Homeworks again and would recommend them.
Comercial Jay was very professional and went above and beyond to help me secure this contract. He was always checking the progress and always keeping me informed . 2 Bed Apartment - Old Town I have rented a lovely 2 bed apartment from JDS this week and I would just like to express what fantastic service jay has offered. Jay offered us a pick up and drop off service, we viewed 4 apartments and picked the one we fell in love with, we then went back to his office and went through all the formalities which were:- Protecting the deposits, gave vast amount of information on The property ombudsman and the complaint procedures, I have never seen a remarkable service like this before. If anyone has a property to let out or you require one to let try JDS property group, trust me you will not go wrong. Well done Jay x

Four bedroom semi-detached property with 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, living room, kitchen and utility extension situated in High Wycombe. (one bedroom was originally another downstairs living room). The property was let at student accommodation. At the beginning they seemed helpful. However, we agreed to rent the property at the beginning of March and did not get the lease until midday on Saturday 13th June with a deadline for signature and payment of the deposit of 5pm on the same day! Although the lease suggested checking with a housing advice centre, solicitor etc. there was obviously no opportunity whatsoever to do this. In the Lease the deposit had to be paid to the Landlord''s Agent who was named as Chiltern Hills Ltd. The Lease stated that the Deposit was held by the Agent as Stakeholder. Stakeholder being defined as a quasi -trustee on behalf of both parties. In the prescribed information attached to the Lease the holder of the deposit was named as Chiltern Hills Ltd. and it said they would register the deposit and provide required information to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme within 30 days and provide proof to the tenant. At the end it says that the deposit was safeguarded by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme which was administered by The Dispute Service Ltd. The tenants were told by Chiltern Hills Ltd. that the deposit would be returned about 14 days after the end of the tenancy following confirmation that all utility bills had been paid etc. At that stage we realised that no-one had received a deposit certificate and we did an internet search at the Tenancy Deposit Scheme which revealed that they had not received the deposit. TDS suggested that we did a search of the other schemes. This did not reveal the deposit so we asked Chiltern Hills to supply a copy of the certificate. To our amazement we got a copy of an e-mail from Chiltern Hills to the landlord asking him to supply a copy! When we challenged Chiltern Hills on this, stating they had not complied with the Lease, they responded that the Lease was between the Landlord and the Tenants and was nothing to do with them and they had no responsibility whatsoever regarding the deposit. We did get a copy of part of a deposit certificate (which was unsigned) from the Landlord showing that the deposit had not been lodged in accordance with the Lease. We also received a copy of a cheque showing that the deposit had not been paid to the Landlord but had been paid to a Limited Company that had nothing at all to do with the Lease. To summarise, we would not use this company again in any circumstances as, obviously, the legal documents supplied by them have no status whatsoever.

Small Chalet type building sit in own ground with views over the town of Looe in Cornwall and out to Sea and River. Seasons were my chosen letting agent for a number of years.During this time they showed their quality in operation and were very good communicators. When it was decided to go to Market they gave me clear and knowledgeable advice which eventually led us to take the property to Auction. They were very friendlily, professional, and had all the national and Local contacts needed to make a difficult time extremely manageable. The did exactly what they said they would do and i never felt let down at any stage.I am about to sell another property and without hesitation have used them again.

Deposit schemes ensure you get your deposit back if you meet the terms of your tenancy agreement, don't damage the property and pay your rent and bills.
Money laundering means exchanging money or assets that were obtained criminally for other assets that don't have an obvious link with criminal activity.

"When things go wrong, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is an alternative to going to Small Claims Court which can be seen as a much quicker and more simple solution to Court action."
