Investigated a faulty shower switch which was found to be beyond repair and replaced. Shower was used by a family of visitors a few days later and worked perfectly. Christina was happy to give advice on other queries I had without any fuss. Christina was recommended by a neighbour and proved to be a very good choice. Very polite and friendly, prompt to give advice and investigate the problem and her advice was spot on. She worked in a positive manner and kept me informed at all times. I will definitely use her again for any electric jobs.
Installation of windows This is the third project that CPS has undertaken for us within the last 18 months and as before we are delighted with the work carried out. The team were highly professional, friendly and courteous throughout. They work to a high standard and were again very tidy and organised. I would highly recommend them and will undoubtedly be using them again.
Power circuit fault-finding and new circuit board. John came highly recommended through 2 different people. Experiencing intermittent power failures, he was thorough in fault-finding. In the end, we decided to replace the whole circuit board under the stairs - a laborious job which John executed very methodically and efficiently. He was always on time and great at explaining the on-going works to me and I would thoroughly recommend him.
Velux window installation Can’t fault the team. Excellent comms ahead of time, prompt installation, lovely bunch of guys and left the place spotless. Can’t recommend enough.
Heliotherm air source heat pump system installed and a dozen radiators changed to increase size. Bulk of system installed in loft. Existing oil tank and boiler removed. New airing cupboard created. MJS were easy to work with from the beginning. Andrew kept us informed of progress from our first enquiry until completion. Craig understood our wishes regarding the placement of the system (mostly in our loft) and his design met all of our expectations. The guys, Mark Jake Luke Bryn Jack, were great to have around. They were considerate and informative, discussing with us each day and tidying up when they finished unless we agreed they could leave tools out. Our heat pump looks great! We didn''t expect to say this! So much more attractive than most. The pipework is as unobtrusive as it''s possible to get and, having taken over our airing cupboard with the large water tank, the team made a replacement in the old boiler cupboard. Andrew also helped us apply for and get the BUS grant which reduced our final cost. Our system wasn''t cheap but it compares comfortably with the money often spent on a new kitchen or bathroom. We see it as a positive investment for the future and good value in those terms.
x2 windows installed 1) replacement of an existing velux window & 2) installation of new velux window including creating gap in room in roof. Also cleaning of x5 further velux windows. I would recommend this firm without hesitation for any velux related work.
Quote and initial discussions with Andrew was very professional. Detailed build of materials and time was clearly earmarked. Project Management carried out by Craig was second to none. He was present before, during and after commissioning the project to ensure I was happy with progress. Grounds works by Steve done to standards set out to ensure the external unit of the ASHP. He ensured I was happy with the quality of work completed. Boiler (water tank) plumbing, installation and commissioning by Glyn and Jack was faultless. It was a real pleasure to have them work in the project. They are very good at what they do and take high pride in the quality and presentation of their work. Glyn is a master of all trades and even neatly finished off the painting on the internal wall and brickwork outside from where the old boiler was removed. #Legend Electrical work was carried out by Ash and Dan, again made some complicated work look easy due to their good knowledge and experience from previous installations. Kudos gents and thank you. Jane was fantastic with invoicing confirming receipt at each payment instalment of the build. A great and professional team to work with and would gladly recommend their services for installation of ASHP. This installation was a retrofit to an existing home. MJS rose to the challenge and fit this as tight and neatly as possible with space available. The team from Jane, Andrew, Craig, Glyn, Jack, Dan, Ash and Steve each excelled in their roles of the build. They were happy and patient to answer my mountain of questions to ensure I was comfortable at all stages. At each stage the team informed me of the work being carried out and if there were change’s requested by myself, they ensured these requests were addressed. It was done in good time, tidy working and cleaned up all the waste including disposal of the old combi-boiler. I am very happy I chose MJS as they offered a professional service. They arranged the BUS grant too which was welcome and reduced the overall installation costs. The true benefit will be felt this winter especially when prices of utilities hit peak costs. This complements my solar panels, storage battery and electric vehicle hopefully bringing my carbon footprint to the lowest possible on an A++ rated home. A huge thanks to all at MJS and hope this investment pays off in the long term future. I’m glad I was fortunate to choose your firm for my installation.
After reading so many positive reviews, I contacted PH247 for a kitchen tap and ballvalve replacement and I was not disappointed! They completed job at areasonable price, on time and to very high standards. I will be using them for all my future plumbing and heating needs for sure. I definitely recommend them!
New windows installed upstairs replacing very old double glazing in the bathroom and bedroom, and replacing a single pane window on the landing. I also had my 1990s P-shaped conservatory demolished and cleared, with a new 3 m lean-to conservatory erected with a solid roof. Original base was to be largely reused, except for roughly 1m x 1.5m (the bottom of the P shape). Overall I''ve been left very unimpressed with Sunny Eco. My conservatory rebuild has been beset with problems, and the company has refused to engage with me since I paid my final installment. The problems started with Sunny Eco''s surveyor, not correctly identifying the existing steel base, mistaking it for concrete. This was only realised after their team had dismantled my existing one, leaving me completely at their mercy. Following that I also experienced the following: - they left live electrical wires exposed for a week during the first delay, until I requested that someone made them safe when rain was forecast - I had to ask them to demolish and rebuild their first attempt at the dwarf wall - I had to stop them from reusing 25+ year old insulation, before laying the floor - I had to request that they refitted the roof-frame so that the bars ran level - I had to stop their workers from cutting my windowsill to fit a new down pipe - I had to ask them to remove a 25+ year old side panel from my demolished conservatory, that they had reused and stuck to the new one - I had to ask them to repair my back gate which they cut down (without permission) leaving my house unsecured - I had to ask them to refit the lights that they randomly placed across the ceiling at different measurements - I had to stop them from completely blocking up and plastering over my kitchen doorway, which they had removed the day before. These numerous issues, promoted me to trigger their complaints process. The stated ''principal'' for complaints took a personal lead in rectifying these many issues and left the job is a state I was eventually happy with. He seemed to be the one person who was able to make things happen and get the job done to a level that had been promised. I was told in person by the project manager, which was later reaffirmed by the complaints principal, that all this correction/ additional work was to be done free of charge as an apology. Based on this agreement, I settled my final balance with the company and was told that I would recieve all certification, guarantees and building regulations within two weeks of doing so. 24 hours after my final payment cleared, I was then issued another invoice for over £4,000 for all the addtional work mentioned above. When I questioned the bill it was immediately dropped by over £300, but I was told my certiciation, regulations and guarentee would be withheld until the rest was cleared. None of this work was ever formally signed off by myself, despite their T&Cs stating that all variations of contract must be signed by both parties. The original contract, which was signed by both parties, had been paid in full. Despite this, I now have a conservatory that has no proof it has been built to the building regulations that were promised in the contract. I have electrical sockets which I cannot use as I do not know if they''re safe to do so. I have windows with no installation certificates. Above all, I have no guarantee for what I believe to be a very poorly built conservatory. The company are now refusing to engage with me. After a final telephone conservation with their complaints principal, I was informed by him that his employers have forbidden him to have anymore contact with me. This is despite my complaint being unresolved and the issue ongoing. Sunny Eco did not even authorise my request to leave this review, I had to ask referenceline to intervene, and send them proof I was a genuine customer. I would strongly urge anyone thinking of using this company to think again. I am now having to use an Ombudsman to get them to uphold their end of the contract. From my experience of using Sunny Eco, I conclude that: - their work is shoddy - their management is unprofessional - their workers lack the required skills/ training for the tasks they''re asked to perform - integrity is lacking - they do not fulfil their contractual obligations Clearly you don''t always get what you pay!
External Wall Insulation to be completed under the Green Home Grant scheme Total Cowboys, Do not go near them if you value your time and money. I have lost £10000 worth of grant for External Wall Insulation after their false promises and mistakes after mistakes spanning over a year. They have totally abandoned me with no response for past 4 months via email or call. It''s been over a year now since they messed up the initial work that was promised. Shame on you Bina, Neil & Cuan. You haven''t bothered to get back to me for almost 4 months for a query regarding work that was promised over a year ago. This company is total shambles. They booked appointments without letting me know whose coming over all the time. Biggest time wasters and fraudsters I have ever come across. I genuinely have no idea how they are TrustMark approved. I''ve lost faith in TrustMark after witnessing how they operate. Now I have lost my money and they won''t pick up my calls or answer my emails despite promising to fix the issue even if it comes down to their own cost. Fake promises. I have all emails & letters showing their false promises.

The coronavirus pandemic has been devastating in the UK. But now we can finally look beyond lockdown and start to get the country working again. To help make it happen, the government and industry have written new guidelines for tradespeople that promote safe working in and around people’s homes. But staying safe is a joint responsibility, and we all have a duty to protect each other. By working together, we can keep everyone safe.
