Competition Law Compliance Policy

We compete fairly and independently

We don’t enter into agreements or understandings with competitors that restrict competition. Compliance is the responsibility of the whole team.

  • Everyday Business

As a small team, we sometimes collaborate with other businesses. When doing so, we follow these rules:

    • No Price Discussions: Never discuss our hourly rates, project pricing, discounts, or margins with other businesses.
    • No Client Splitting: Never agree with another firm to "divide" clients (e.g., agreeing that they take managed service clients while we only take cybersecurity clients).
    • Independent Bidding: If we and another firm are pitching for the same client contract, we calculate our costs and submit our bid completely independently. Never share bid details.
    • No-Poaching: Do not agree with other businesses to not hire each other's staff or freelancers, or to fix subcontractor day rates.
  • Industry Events and Networking

When attending meetups such as Fairs, Conferences, or Networking:

    • Sensitive Topics: If a competitor starts talking about their upcoming price increases, client losses, or bidding strategies, change the subject immediately.
    • Noisy Withdrawal: If the competitor persists, leave the conversation immediately. Make your departure memorable so it is clear you refused to participate.
  • If a Mistake Happens

If you accidentally share sensitive data, or if a competitor sends you confidential pricing:

    • Report Immediately: Tell the Managing Director, Mark Dealtry, right away.
    • Do Not Delete: Do not delete the email or chat log. We must keep an accurate record to address the issue legally.
